Job description
Electrical Service Engineer - Induction Equipment
Full training will be given.
You will need to be qualified or HNC or HND level in electrical or electronic Engineering (or a high degree of technical ability).
You can come from a Maintenance or Technician background but you must be willing to travel as a Service Engineer.
You must live within a commutable distance of Wolverhampton as you will be required to go into the workshop.
You must be technically motivated and interested in a high level of Customer Service.
Your role will be to install, commission and repair high power (1kW to 4MW) induction heating and welding units that are used for a wide variety of industrial processes in the UK and world wide.
In practice because of the size of the units the work is as much mechanical as electrical.
You will be responsible to the Services Manager .
You will be working within the UK and potentially overseas.
Qualifications / experience.
HNC or HND level in electrical/electronics or a high degree of technical ability.
Good familiarity with oscilloscopes and all types of electrical test equipment.
